Ingredients

2 oz. Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye Whiskey
Absinthe rinse
1 barspoon Simple syrup
3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Lemon twist, to garnish

Directions

  1. Rinse rocks glass with absinthe, then set aside.
  2. In a mixing beaker, add simple syrup, Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye Whiskey, and bitters.
  3. Top with ice, stir, then strain into prepared rocks glass.
  4. Express lemon twist on rim of glass, then place there as garnish, and serve.
